Internet subscription rises by 12.8m as MTN, Glo maintain dominance
The data revealed MTN had the highest number of subscribers in 2022. It had a total of 254.2 million subscribers, followed by Glo with a total of 164.8 million. Airtel had a total of 163.4 million subscribers.
Nigeria’s mobile subscribers hit 226.8m, grow 15% in one year
The number of network subscribers increased by 0.42 percent in February compared to January 2023, with 955,539 new subscribers added by telecommunication companies during the month.
